Our Purpose

Our Charity was established: 

“To promote and assist the general good of old people in Knowle and its surrounding districts within the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull including old people who were formerly resident in the area or who have family or other connections with the area by assisting the work of statutory authorities and voluntary organisations engaged in providing facilities for physical and mental recreation, developing physical improvement furthering health, relieving poverty, distress or sickness, or in pursuing any objectives which now are or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable.”

Our Mission Statement

Job’s Close aims to provide excellence in both care and accommodation within a happy and secure environment.

Twenty four hour care is offered in a way that promotes and encourages independence, privacy, respect and dignity to each resident individually and in accordance with their needs.

Potential residents are most welcome to visit the Home and view the facilities

Normally the Home hosts a number of social events to introduce potential residents to the facilities.

Eileen Carlton, Home  Manager, welcomes enquiries at any time and can give a guided video tour of the accommodation.
